Preparation for Expiration of Stay on Evictions and Possibility of Second COVID-19 Wave


With regards to landlord and tenant law, once the Governor’s moritoriums on evictions are lifted, unpaid rent and rent held in abayance will need to be addressed. At that time, both the landlord and the tenant will need to re-negotiate their rental agreements in order to maintain a continued congenial relationship. These agreements will need to address the potential of a “second wave” of this pandemic.
