Sharon Aspis

Associate

Sharon Aspis is an Associate at the firm where she has handled a variety of legal matters, including but not limited to, tax certiorari proceedings, condemnations, foreclosures, collections, and real estate closings. Ms. Aspis recently handled a condemnation trial against the Town of Oyster Bay in which she received a final damage award of 183% over and above the initial offer tendered by the Town.

Ms. Aspis graduated cum laude from Fordham Law School in 2013. She received an academic scholarship, was a Ruth Whitehead Whaley Scholar, and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. As an undergraduate at Barnard College, Ms. Aspis received the Alpha Beta Club Graduate Scholarship and was on the Dean's List every semester. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Aspis was a judicial intern at the Kings County Surrogate Court, a pro bono Assistant District Attorney at Kings County District Attorney's Office, and an intern in the Department of Child Support and in the Department of Juvenile Delinquency at the Nassau County Attorney's Office Family Court Bureau.

Ms. Aspis also has experience in the mediation field. In law school, she was a volunteer mediator in her school’s Mediation Clinic and worked as a coordinator in the criminal court division of New York Peace Institute in Brooklyn.

Ms. Aspis was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2014.
